Hello, and thanks to Dionne for inviting me to the community.

I am quite new to this whole thing, and would like any info at all on crystals, the best ones to use for energy creation and healing......especially blue ones.

Hey Maisie

I specialise in Crystals in my rituals and casting of circles. It was what got me into Wiccan at the very start. Theres a wonderful book that can help you with Crystals, Gems and Metals. Its by Scott Cunningham and I have to say its very useful - its called "Cunninghams Encylopedia of Crystal, Gem & Metal Magic*

But anyways I will help you out here

Blue stones usually calm the emotions and are excellent for halting nightmares and are worn OR used to help healing = i.e fevers, ulcers and eliminating inflammations.... they are also used for purifying.

Believe me - you wouldnt be surprised by the number of crystals that are used for healing.....but anyways - if youd want me to name all the crystals - youll be in for along wait but hey, I can always name some of them NOW ....

the projective ones are usually used for energising, healing, protection etc.... some of the best ones are the quartz stones, the Agates, Apache Tear, Aventurine, Cats Eyes and Fluorites,

the receptive ones are used for soothing and destressing (just what I need ) also for love, friendship, wisdom, sleeps n' fertility - Again the Agates are good, Calcites, The Quartzs, Jasper and the Tourmalines (except Red)

but as for energy - youd be better off with the Quartz stones for now - theres a wide variety of Quartz stones - theres different types of energy so im not really sure...... ud have to make it clearer what type of energy ud want to create.

the different types of energies are as of - .... Physical energy, Magickal Energy, Sexual Energy, Healing Energy, Receptive energy and so on..
