I myself am out to almost everyone, bar my grandmother and my aunt and
uncle. All my friends said was "see how it goes, take it slow and
if it feels right do it" I think this is the best advice anyone
has ever given me and much to my surprise my parents said the same.
Which really shock me as I had been building myself up to tell them.
But my friends have been used to me seeing spirits and talking about
them, they even ask me to check over houses for them to see if there
are any unhappy spirits there, and Ive been doing this for years
so I guess to them it was just the next step.
Since I work for myself I havent had to cover up or come out
at my work place, which I would imagine is proberly harder than coming
out to your family, but as I have no experience of this I cant
really comment. Though at my last job about a year ago I left, we were
in one of those corporate team building meetings
lol
. And
the conversation came round to religious beliefs and when ask I just
said I was spiritual and not religious as at the time I didnt
know I was Witch, I just did stuff when it felt right, I later discover
that I have been doing witchcraft of the type you find in Scott Cunninghams
books "Earth Power" and "Earth, Air, Fire and Water"
but that I will explain my practices when I write my background and
how I came to the Craft.
As for my background and how I came to the Craft I think that is proberly
another thread. But if anyone is interested I will start one unless
someone beats me to it. As its going to take a while for me to type
it all out as Ive never written it down before
.lol
Brightest Blessings

you know a long time someone hid a pixaxe in the broomcupboard its got
the words '
how exactly does it harm you and do u rule my lfe?' scribed into the
side of it
the whole idea is do what you will as long as u aint running round hacking
people up for spare parts so noone should have a problem with it
i have my ma n pa askin me to do spells with them and my gran getting
me to read her mind at parties as a trick.....mind my gran kicks ass
im out to everyone i know and some people i dont know
if u tell someone and they dont have a problem with it its cool
if they have a problem then they r stupid
if they fall out with u then fuck em its their loss and they cant have
been that good a friend

Hey Monkey...well that's an easy attitude to have when you're a kid,
and one that i shared at university, where i am 'out'.
However, i'm about to go back into the broom closet now, the world of
work isn't ready for witches and wiccans. I'm currently working as a
student teacher in a Church of England school (not by choice) and would
probably fail my degree if they found out i was pagan.
So, it's easy to say "if they've got a problem with it, then they're
stupid, so fuck 'em" when it's concerning so called friends, but
when your work relies on getting on with people who are narrow minded
then...softly, softly, is the way to go.
