Merry Meet!

I've been meaning to drop a message in and introduce myself for a while now but have never had enough time to do it properly... Now, at last, I have a little time on my hands and can say "Hello!" properly .

I've been in the craft for about 3-4 years now officially, although I was in it before I knew what Wicca was, I only started practising last year and am still finding out what is comfortable for me. I'm a solitary by nature although I'd love to find a coven, however, since I've never met another fellow of the craft the chances for this have been very slim, also I'm a bit set in my ways I guess and that makes it harder to find anyone with the same beliefs as my own... Still! I'm looking forward to getting to know you all here and hopefully to meeting some of you in person at some point in the not too distant future.

If there are any get-togethers down here in the South-West please count me in, I'm based in the lovely city of Bath just now although I'm from Northern Scotland originally and I'll be moving to London before too long as my studies require me to.

On behalf of everyone in our comm, I would like to welcome you and wish you a pleasent stay. I'm sure you will find lots of cool people to interact with, and hopefully you will make new friends and maybe find that Coven that you are interested in.

If you have any questions then dont hessitate to ask, or even any suggestions for the comm. :)

Welcome to what is in my opinion the best comm on the web-you're sure to make loadsa good buddies on here.

I think we're also pretty good at getting the juices flowing on here...lots of debate, issues and general discussion.

Merry meet, and welcome. A couple of us here are from Bristol, not far from Bath and were talking about doing a south-west meet at Glastonbury. Would you be up for that? I think we were planning it for around Easter, although we have had no recent discussions on the subject, so I forget who else is from round the area. Anyway, I'm sure you will find many people with similar beleifs to you (and some very dissimilar, we got all sorts!).

Thanks All, It's wonderful to have such a warm welcome! I'll definitely be up for that SW meet in Glastonbury Star, I was planning to visit a friend in Glastonbury during the Easter break anyway so it'd be great to combine the two. I'm really looking forward to meeting a few of you. The prospect is quite exciting!! I'll try and post some piccies here soon so you can see who I am, I don't have any on me just now as my computer is broken so it'll be a few days yet.. Hope that I can make a useful contribution to the Comm.
