Hi there and MM

hey everyone im still in the research stages of the craft i first was drawn to it about 3 years ago when i was 16 however circumstances and the upheaval of going off to university meant that i forgot about it. But since then i have had strong unexplainable emotions that i have not had since i was an early teenager. these emotions are joyous and exciting are usually caused by seeing a picture of a forest or wolves in a forest or the moon etc and after some thought i realised that a pagan belief has been with me since birth and i feel (so far ) like i have found my calling. Does anyone else have any experiences like this do you all think im nuts :) lol. write me to share and learn or just to chat about non craft stuff.

Well a bit about me in the non witchy sense i suppose well im 19 and a hedgewitch and i live in glsasgow scotland studying zoology cos animals are the best. My interests are mainly skateboarding (i really need to develop a spell to stop me falling on my ass) music, i love music soo much i play electric guitar and until a few years back i played trombone for the scottish brass champions but too much playing and stress collapsed my lung OUCH so i had to give that up. My favorite bands are METALLICA mainly and also Iron Maiden, Korn Machine head cradle of filth (oooh scary) Limp Bizkit and erm.......bon jovi (laugh and ill turn you into a toad lol) but i like loads of metal bands. I also love films, eating is good also and reading is the best form of meditation there is. BB )0(.............GLADE..............)0(

i think you are definatly a complete nutter but so are a lot of us so i think thats ok!!
i think the skateboarding needs to be tackled on the mundane plane. get out there and practise ya big wuss.but maybe the odd protection spell on your board (and you) wouldnt go amiss.

i have a friend who has a spell for turning people into toads! not real ones though , just metaphorical ones, you know like it makes them repulsive to anyone who meets them.
wouldnt use it though, dread to think waht the karma on that one would be like!

haha i cant believe ive started such a bizare conversation. Thats interesting though the karma on turning someone into a metaphysical toad well multiply it by three what would that do to you exactly perhaps it would make people see you as being really slimy and warty hahaha so if you try and cast that spell then wonder why people are crossing the street to avoid you you now know why hahaa BB

Dearest Glade,

I find it weird that you and I seem to have a lot in common !!! I too have felt as though I have been a witch since birth, it has felt to me that witchcraft has always been there, I only discovered it when I was 15 (I'm 19 now) and when I started to read up books on it, the whole thing felt so natural and right, I just knew that wicca was the path for me.

Don't worry about the Bon Jovi thing.....I like him a little ( even though I find it hard to admit !!!) . I also like Metallica, Cradle of filth and many others ( My Dying Bride was a favourite). I used to be a Goth but had to change when I went to Uni (it's a long story !!)

The only difference so far about you and I, is that when I went to Uni ( I study Law at Southampton Institute) I forgot about my music (which was a big mistake) rather than my witchcraft !

Anyway, Welcome to the community. I hope you find all that you are searching for in your chosen path.

How could you stop being a goth, no matter how long the story is?

I have been into the witchy stuff for as long as I can remember. It runs in the family (mother, grandmother, you know the sort of thing). In fact my Mum gave me my first spell book. Isn't she a darling.
