If you want poems then I'm your Gal. I would really like to know what you think. I will send you one I wrote for my son, and another which is well, depressing.

Baby

I can't put into words
the love I feel for you
when you lye next to me
is the most sublime view.

You look so peaceful
so content
so happy to be alive
you are simply heaven sent.

At times I want to cry
for this love is pain
and the frustration of inability
to simply explain.

So I will have to try
within these basic words
I love you, Jacob, My son
My life, my love, my world.

Disgraced Angel

My mind is so full
of what he did to you
and how you feel now
and you sheer loss of power
from a once golden vision
you are now locked in prison
of pain, hurt and hate
looking for a gate
a doorway or exit
to climb out of your pit
not in heaven or in hell
left in limbo to dwell
have you lost your grace?
your beauty, your face
will you loose those wings
no longer the Queen to Kings
or do you just want love
and remember the above
as a past painful memory
just a brief summary
learn to fly again
and not a beauty in pain
come back from where you fell
you poor disgrace angel.
